Why is there a mandate for change when it comes to energy?
Energy production fuels our living standards and the opportunity for a quality of life that continues to change with each new invention and advancing technology
If we want to continue our current living standards, then effective use of existing energy supplies is compulsory, along with the development of cleaner ways to produce energy. The environmental factors surrounding energy production are a concern, but the overwhelming reason to develop cleaner technologies is so future generations can enjoy the same quality of life we enjoy today
Creating a mandate for cultural change is not the pursuit of one person or the government. It is the responsibility of a community of concerned citizens who are not only dependent on some form of power, but who recognize that without effective energy production, our children's children will be faced with far graver problems than we can ever imagine.
